Kathryn Sawers
Founder & C.I.D.E.S.C.O. Skin Therapist
Kathryn is a certified aesthetician, recognized skin expert and leader in the spa industry. She graduated with honours and received a C.I.D.E.S.C.O. diploma from the Dominelli International College of Esthetics in 2001. Early in her career, Kathryn had the privilege of working and learning from industry leaders and directing a highly regarded medical spa before founding Collective Skin Care in 2013.
Kathryn prioritizes continued education and researching industry trends to refine her knowledge and skills. From her years of experience, she has developed a skin ethos which includes an emphasis on therapeutic touch and non-invasive technology for their proven healing benefits and enhanced outcomes. Her goal is to help you achieve your most radiant skin and empower you to care for it.
Kathryn’s hobbies include snowboarding, hiking and surfing whenever she is close to some waves.
Iuliia Belousova
Skin Therapist & Dermalogica Expert
Iuliia is a certified esthetician, skin expert and an esthetics instructor. She originally moved to Vancouver in 2011 to pursue a career in makeup artistry for film and television. Even though creative aspects of this job played an important part for her, she soon discovered that helping people look and feel their best was what kept her passionate about this job the most.
Always being drawn towards health sciences and any topic of maintaining healthy well-being, she soon decided to continue on her journey by attending Body Spa Esthetics program at John Casablancas Institute, which she graduated from with honours in 2016. She has since worked as an esthetician with a main focus in skin care.
Iuliia strongly believes in a power of continuous education, curiosity and an attentive approach in everything she does. She has taken on a variety of extra trainings and seminars devoted to general skin health and skin care throughout her years of practice including Dermalogica Expert training at International Dermal Institute. Iuliia’s approach to skin care is always personalised and holistic, she will address any of your concerns and guide you towards your healthiest and most luminous skin. You will leave your treatment relaxed, renewed and confident in your skin care choices.
In her free time, you can find her spending quality time with her friends, working out, reading about psychology or planning on her next trip.
Mahsa Ahmadi

My curiosity in medicine and natural health, lead me to find my true passion in an alternative medicine known as Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). The thought of never ending opportunities gave me strength to continue on a five year doctorate diploma program in Vancouver. I became a registered acupuncturist with the Association of TCM Practitioners of BC (CTCMA) in early 2008. I have extensive experience in clinical practice for the treatment and management of all types of pain and injuries, arthritis, sciatica, stress, weight control issues, sleeping problems, etc.
During 2012-2013, I completed extensive training and certification in the advanced program of Sports Medicine Acupuncture in Boston. This places me at the highest level of qualification as an Acupuncturist in orthopaedic assessment, treatment & prevention of most musculoskeletal injuries due to sports activities, postural and muscle imbalances, etc.
I am certified in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture (cosmetic acupuncture) as well as Facial Rejuvenation Massage/Acupressure.
Growing up, my family traveled around the world; this has given me enormous exposure to a variety of cultures. I have lived in and visited many countries in Asia, Europe, Central and North America. My passions include experiencing and learning new things as well as exploring and traveling to more beautiful places in the world. I love sports, food and helping others maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Maggie Ho
R.Ac., BA
Maggie comes from a family history and background nestled in Traditional Chinese Medicine philosophies. She first discovered the healing power of acupuncture in her early childhood. Maggie completed her Registered Acupuncturist program with PCU Holistic College and was honoured to be the Valedictorian in 2018. Prior to this Maggie also attained her Psychology degree from the University of British Columbia.
A lover of all things natural, Maggie developed a keen interest in women’s health and is passionate about holistic skincare. She dove deeply into her education with Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture. This ancient remedy is able naturally stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, soften and smooth out wrinkles, and lift and tone facial muscles for a noticeably brighter and more vibrant appearance. As the face is a reflection of our bodies on the inside, facial acupuncture treatments are also aimed to calm the nervous system and improve overall wellness.

In her down time, Maggie can be found around town with her husband, two sons, her senior but young-at-heart terrier, and newest rescue pup. Maggie enjoys a good laugh and taking weekend road trips with her boys to discover parts of the great Northwest.
